Former SSRC Program Director Beverlee Bruce passed away over the weekend of September 12, 2009. Dr. Bruce was a social anthropologist, development specialist, and educator with experience in Africa and the Caribbean going back more than 30 years. Those who knew her at the Council will miss her kindness and wisdom.
